Property Festival Islamabad

Graana Group of Companies, the primary funder of AOP, organized an annual property festival in Islamabad (PFI) – Pak China Center. Developers, realtors, builders and professionals from allied fields gathered under one roof to facilitate the public through a single-window operation. People from the entire region, particularly of the twin cities, benefitted from the occasion and purchased dream properties, in addition to enjoying with their families.


AOP also established an exclusive counter at the PFI to offer investment opportunities, on-the-spot AOP membership, and most importantly, instant solution to real estate problems to overseas Pakistanis. A considerable number of overseas Pakistanis poured in to the event and availed the offered services.


The Association registered hundreds of overseas Pakistanis as members; connected them to relevant stakeholders for their impending property issues; and provided them discounted investment opportunities, all under one roof. Besides overseas Pakistanis, an overwhelming response was witnessed from the relatives of the diaspora as well, who recorded contact information of their overseas loved ones for AOP memberships.


On the second and last day of the event, Special Assistant on Overseas Pakistanis and Human Resource Development to Prime Minister of Pakistan, Mr Zulfiqar Bukhari visited the AOP counter and appreciated the efforts being carried out for the welfare of Pakistani diaspora. Mr Shafiq Akbar, Chairman AOP and CEO Graana.com, Mr Farhan Javed, Director Graana Group of Companies and AOP Trustee, and Ms Naina Malik, Managing Director AOP accompanied the minister and informed him about the achievements of the Association. Other political dignitaries that visited AOP counter included Mr Muhammad Ijaz ul Haq (Leader of PML (Z) and ex-Minister for Overseas Pakistanis), Mr Usman Dar, Chairman Prime Minister’s Youth Program, and ex-MNA Ms Romina Khursheed Alam.
